Convolvulus Hawk-Moth at Revtangen BO

Convolvulus Hawk-Moth (Agrius convolvuli)

This morning Haavard discovered a very fresh and attractive Convolvulus Hawk-Moth (Agrius convolvuli) sitting in the grass. No light traps were in use last night, so this seems like a random encounter. This is only the second individual so far of this long-distance migrant to reach Norway in 2018, but we have trapped several individuals in our Robinson-traps before, last time in autumn 2016.
