Wood Warbler is less than annual at Revtangen

Almost no wind in the morning, later 4-5 m/s from N. Nets open 05.30-19. Netmeter hours approx. 4300. 

Ringed: Collared Dove 1, Barn Swallow 1, Tree Pipit 1, Meadow Pipit 3, Northern Wheatear 2, Common Redstart 7, Sedge Warbler 2, Blackcap 2, Common Whitethroat 1, Lesser Whitethroat 1, Willow Warbler 13, Wood Warbler 1, Common Starling 1, Tree Sparrow 1, House Sparrow 1, Lesser Redpoll 2, Mealy Redpoll 1, Common Linnet 2. Total = 43. Also 8 controls.

Wood Warbler is less than annual at Revtangen BO, so this one was no doubt the bird of the day. Bøksanger.

Ringmerket: Tyrkerdue 1, låvesvale 1, trepiplerke 1, heipiplerke 3, steinskvett 2, rødstjert 7, sivsanger 2, munk 2, tornsanger 1, møller 1, løvsanger 13, bøksanger 1, stær 1, pilfink 1, gråspurv 1, brunsisik 2, gråsisik 1, tornirisk 2. Total = 43. Også 8 kontroller. 

Observations: European Goldfinch 2, Glaucous Gull 1 imm. 

3 Robinsontraps produced 13 moth species, including a first for Revtangen: Poplar Grey (Acronicta megacephala).
