Roe deers

Thick fog in the morning hours, and the nets caught little else than water. The fog eventually cleared but a southern 5-7 m/s was far from ideal and the catch was all but impressive. Nets open 06-18, netmeter hours approx. 4000. 

Ringed: Collared Dove 1, Fieldfare 2, Redwing 1, Sedge Warbler 2, Common Whitethroat 3, Willow Warbler 5, Common Starling 2, House Sparrow 1, Chaffinch 1. Total = 18. Also 8 controls, including a Sedge Warbler not from Revtangen. 

Ringmerket: Tyrkerdue 1, gråtrost 2, rødvingetrost 1, sivsanger 2, tornsanger 3, løvsanger 5, stær 2, gråspurv 1, bokfink 1. Total = 18. Også 8 kontroller, inkl. en sivsanger merket annetsteds. 

Observations: 

Revtangen: Brent Goose 3, Common Scoter 70, Long-tailed Duck 1, Bar-tailed Godwit 3, Red Knot 31, Turnstone 17, Purple Sandpiper 1, Dunlin 160, Common Redshank 5, Common Sandpiper 2.

The doe Roe Deer at the top was courted by the buck in the lower photo, along the gravel road down to Revtangen in the early morning.
