Revtangen BO June 17th-25th

Still very nice and warm weather. Although a bit too windy at times for trapping, the nets were in use on 4 dates between the 17th and 25th. On the 17th only a few nets a couple of hours.



Common bird, but rarely trapped: Hooded Crow. Kråke.

Ringed, June 17th, 19th and 24-25th: Collared Dove: 4, White Wagtail 6, Meadow Pipit 7, Fieldfare 7, Sedge Warbler 2, BLYTH'S REED WARBLER 1 (On the 17th, 2nd this spring), Common Whitethroat 1, Blackcap 2, Chiffchaff 1, Willow Warbler 9, CRESTED TIT 2, Common Starling 46, HOODED CROW 1, House Sparrow 41, Tree Sparrow 4, Greenfinch 4, Lesser Redpoll 16, Common Linnet 5, European Goldfinch 2, Yellowhammer 3. Total = 164. Also 36 controls.

Blyth's Reed Warblers have a strong occurrence in NW Europe in 2020. We caught a second bird that was singing briefly in the garden on the 17th. Busksanger.

Ringmerket: Tyrkerdue 4, linerle 6, heipiplerke 7, gråtrost 7, sivsanger 2, BUSKSANGER 1 (den 17., nr. 2 i år), tornsanger 1, munk 2, gransanger 1, løvsanger 9, TOPPMEIS 2, stær 46, KRÅKE 1, gråspurv 41, pilfink 4, grønnfink 4, brunsisik 16, tornirisk 5, stillits 2, gulspurv 3. Total = 164. Også 36 kontroller.
