Light shifting breeze, around 4 degrees in the morning increasing to 10 around noon. A bit more windy on the 13th, with 15 birds ringed. Less wind and better conditions increased the catch to 35 on the 14th. In total, around 7500 netmeter hours.

Common Cuckoo is a rare catch at Revtagen BO, with one every second year on average. Gjøk.

Ringed, May 13th-14th: Collared Dove 1, Common Cuckoo 1 (on the 14th; first this season), White Wagtail 1, Meadow Pipit 6, European Robin 1, Sedge Warbler 7 (first this season), Common Whitethroat 1, Lesser Whitethroat 1, Willow Warbler 6, Chiffchaff 3, Common Starling 4, House Sparrow 4, Chaffinch 1, Greenfinch 1, Lesser Redpoll 3, Mealy Redpoll 2, Eurasian Siskin 5, Common Linnet 2. Total = 50. Also 31 controls.

Absurd numbers of Bibionidae everywhere today, and the nets were very visible and heavier than usual, probably affecting the catch.
