Revtangen BO May 18th-21st

Bluethroat - less than annual at Revtangen BO

We had two days with strong winds (16-19 m/s) from NNW on the 16th-17th, before the wind eased off on the 18th. No trapping also on the 20th because of too strong wind from the S. 

May 18th: NNE turning NW, at first part cloudy but later sunny. Nets open 06.30-20.30, netmeter hours approx. 4600. 
Ringed: Meadow Pipit 1, Fieldfare 6, Sedge Warbler 1, Willow Warbler 1, Chiffchaff 1, Spotted Flycatcher 1, Common Starling 6, House Sparrow 3, Chaffinch 1, Greenfinch 1, Common Linnet 1, Lesser Redpoll 1, Yellowhammer 1. Total = 26. Also 9 controls.

May 19th: Light NNE, turning W around 10, Sunny. Nets open 07-20, netmeter hours approx. 4300. Very quitet.
Ringed: Collared Dove 1, Meadow Pipit 1, Fieldfare 2, Chiffchaff 1, House Sparrow 1, Common Linnet 2. Total = 8.

2 cy Male Bluethroat. Blåstrupe, 2K hann.

May 21st: Light E-SE turning S and increasing to 8-10 m/s around 09. Nets open 07-20, netmeter hours approx. 3300. Half the nets closed around 14.
Ringed: Meadow Pipit 1, White Wagtail 1, Bluethroat 1 (first this season), Sedge Warbler 1, Icterine Warbler 1 (first this season), Common Whitethroat 2, Willow Warbler 6, Chiffchaff 3, Common Starling 1, Mealy Redpoll 1, Lesser Redpoll 1. Total = 19. Also 3 controls.
