Revtangen BO May 3rd-9th

We are still in the cold northwestern airflow that seems well settled unfortunately, migrants heading for Scandinavia seems to be elsewhere...The result is cold nights, mostly sunny and winds from the north and northwest, best case sceanrio is a little very light northeast in the early morning. Such conditions are very unfavourable for trapping and ringing, and despite 4 efforts during the last week, only a total of 56 new birds have been caught.

A smart 2cy male Whinchat on the 9th was the small highlight of the week.
