Revtangen BO October 19th-November 5th

It's been a while since the last update, but not much has happened due to the generally bad weather preventing ringing most days. Some ringing was carried out on 7 days during this period, but mostly with a limited number of nets (about half) and for less than a full day. The best days were the 19th (98 birds) and 23rd (148 birds). In total, 426 new birds were ringed.

Ringed, October 19th - November 5th: Winter Wren 16, European Robin 4, Song Thrush 4, Redwing 12, Common Blackbird 24, RING OUZEL 1, Blackcap 12, Common Chiffchaff 1, Goldcrest 23, Spotted Flycatcher 1, Great Tit 7, Blue Tit 108, Willow Tit 6, Long-tailed Tit 14, Treecreeper 1, Common Starling 5, Tree Sparrow 18, Chaffinch 1, Brambling 79, Greenfinch 40, Lesser Redpoll 8, Mealy Redpoll 6, Eurasian Siskin 10, Twite 3, European Goldfinch 5, Yellowhammer 16. Total = 426.

November has been kind to the local birdwatchers so far, with Taiga Flycatcher and Brown Shrike both at Haugen, Orre the last week, a couple of kilometers from Revtangen BO. Taigafluesnapper og brunvarsler.
